Well...I know it's been a while and there's a LOT to catch up on, so we better not waste any more time!!!!
My cousin Mikey came to visit us from Friday, March 2nd to Monday, March 5th. He got in pretty late on Friday night so we headed home enjoyed a Hoffmeyer traditional bowl of Chicken Chili. We then headed to bed and got an early start skiing/snowboarding at Steven's Pass on Saturday morning.

"What up cuz?"
(Those of you who are supposed to get it, will indeed, get it) |

| Do we look like Northwestern-ers yet? |
We had an awesome day, although the conditions were not the best. Strong winds and frozen rain made for some stinging faces on the lift rides and the visibility at the top was almost non-exsistent. All you could see in front of you was white ground and blue ski. Wet goggles and freezing rain take away all depth perception. Needless to say it was a little sketchy at the top, but once you got down to a lower elevation it was a great ride!
One time I lost the guys on the way down and found myself stuck in some non-plowed powder. I tried a few times to ride my way out, but to no avail. I had to unclip myself and hike out. The snow came up to my knees....I was exhausted by the time I got out, I strapped back in, rode down the rest of the mountain to find Matt and Mikey who were ready for a beer....Perfect timing.

That evening we spent in Edmonds. We hung out on the pier and walked the little town stopping at both a very authentic Irish pub and a delicious pirate-themed Mexican restaurant. Arghhh! (Sorry we didn't take any pictures, I think we were too into our food and margaritas!)

The next morning, of course, we headed downtown to Pike Market. You just have to go to Pike if you're here. It's like mandatory.
 |
| Elliot Bay, downtown Seattle |
 |
| Look at those Seattle clouds! |
 |
| Matt and Mike REALLY liked this totem pole |
 |
| So much so that they wanted to BE the totem pole |
 |

| This one is better! |
 |
| The gum wall! Another must. Mikey's gum is now officially on the wall. |
 |
| There he goes! |
 |
| Surprisingly, this was Matt's first trip to the wall as well!! |

| A strange/cool addition to Post Alley, the home of the gum wall |
Pike Market was super busy, but super fun, as always...
