Wallace Falls

Today Matt and I did a 5.5 mi. hike up to Wallace Falls.  It was absolutely gorgeous!  It's such a unique terrain out here.  Everything is so moist and SO GREEN!  Enjoy our pics from today!

Check out the close-up of this moss!!

This trail is very well taken care of.
There are several sections of wooden steps as well as many cool bridges.

When you're heading to a waterfall, you better expect to do some climbing.  We were happy to climb away!  Hiking with smiles all over our faces...

Ok, are you ready?  Are you sure your ready?  Here are the pictures of the falls.  The pics are from our way up and our way down...but on the way down there was a rainbow.  It was just amazing.

Double rainbow!

I think this was the best pic of the day

Other cool pics from the day...

Although there are black bears in these woods...I kept waiting for a troll sighting!

Breath-taking views!!

Such TALL trees

Baby waterfall!

Then on the way out we saw this very strange plant.  Matt called it "demon asparagus."

I hoped you enjoyed the recap of our day.  I have many more recent pictures to share and I hope to get them posted soon...here's a little taste of what's to come...
